The Holidays are a time when blood is still needed.  The South Bend Medical Foundation reports a particular need for O Positive.  For information on hours, eligibility, and other information in St. Joseph County, contact the Blood Bank, www.givebloodnow.com, or call them at 574 234-1157.

INDIANA RESPONSE AND PREPAREDNESS CORPS NOW RECRUITING!!

 

The American Red Cross of St. Joseph County, in collaboration with AmeriCorps, has created the Indiana Response and Preparedness Corps, which offers the opportunity to serve with AmeriCorps and the Red Cross in 5 locations across Indiana.

Thanks to all who trekked out in the cold and ice to attend the annual Holiday Open House on Wednesday, Dec. 17.  The treats were great and the company was wonderful.  The St. Joseph County Chapter wishes all volunteers, donors, and our many partners a very Happy New Year!

The Chapter office will be closed:

New Year's Eve afternoon, December 31, 2008. 
New Year's Day, January 1, 2009.

The Chapter will reopen for regular business hours on Friday, January 2, 2009.
