Online / Blended Learning

Every year the American Red Cross prepares millions of people to prevent and respond to emergencies. With their busy schedules in mind, the Red Cross has developed a convenient Web-based Blended Learning program. Now, you can learn life saving skills right at your own computer.

The first part of the training is completed online, so you can take the training from any computer that meets the minimum operating system requirements and has internet access. This web-based training is flexible and self-paced, allowing you to stop and review whenever necessary. You have the option of going through the lessons in full or abbreviated form and can even test out of lessons as well.

Press the following link for a list of the courses available:

Press on the desired course to get an overview of the learning objectives and cost.

Then press the REGISTER button to get started right away.

The second part is taken with a Red Cross-trained instructor who will conduct a skills practice and assessment to complete your training. These are usually scheduled for the 4th Thursday of every month.

Call when you have completed the online portion to make a reservation.
