Contact Us The first step towards becoming a Red Cross volunteer is contacting us. We have a number of volunteer opportunities that may be perfect for you. There are three ways to contact the Red Cross:
Volunteer Inquiry To become a volunteer, complete and submit our online form or, as always, contact us at the St. Joe County office at (574) 234-0191.
Volunteer Orientation After we get connected by phone or e-mail, you will probably be directed to attend a Volunteer Orientation. Here you'll learn about the history of the Red Cross, our mission, what we do and how you can get involved. You will also be given a volunteer applicationj to complete and have the opportunity to complete your background check (required of all volunteers over the age of 18).
Volunteer Opportunities Looking for a way to give back to your community? Join the American Red Cross as a St. Joseph County Chapter Volunteer! We can offer you rewarding experiences, whatever your schedule. Think you don't have skills to offer? You'd be surprised! And, if you need training, we'll provide it!
Background Check For the safety of our clients, volunteers, and staff, the American Red Cross has mandated that all potential Red Cross employees and volunteers complete a background check (at no charge to them) whether they are new to the organization or have been associated with the Red Cross in the past. Upon completing a volunteer application, the staff of the Red Cross will help you complete a background check inquiry prior to your start as a volunteer. Click here to be taken to the site.
